I hate being sick.
So, that flu that I mentioned the other day turned out not to be influenza, but some other nasty virus that hit me pretty hard. I was starting to feel better on Sunday/Monday and that's when I started up with a secondary bacterial infection - pneumonia. This one really knocked me down hard. Not only have I had the typical cough, shortness of breath and weakness, but I have also had to deal with this unbearable joint pain that even narcotic pain meds could not fully take care of. I have been to the ER twice in the last few days and yesterday's treatment seems to be what I needed to get me over the hump. Now, the key is to finish healing and not push myself too hard too early.

Wow - that's awful and scary. I hope the new treatment works. Take care and try to get a lot of rest (though I know that can be hard).
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this! Hope what rest you can manage to get does you good.
Hope you feel better. I just got over the stomach flu... NO FUN!
I hope you're all better by now. That sounded pretty bad.
